Redbud Retreat

Redbud Retreat has an indoor wood burning fireplace and an outdoor firepit. A small amount of firewood is provided and can be found in the firewood rack located on the large covered wrap around deck (in season only). This wood has been seasoned for indoor use. Outdoor fire pit wood can be found piled up next to the pit, or from fallen limbs and branches. A private horseshoe pit is also located outside. On the large covered wrap around deck, sets a large five person hot tub and a charcoal grill.

The private 40 acres has a paved main throughfare. This road is private and guests never have to worry about traffic noise or fast moving vehicles. The paved road is a fantastic bike trail as well. There are trails cut through the woods, hill tops, and creeks that spread throughout the property. The Beavers Bend Hideaway private acrage is one of a kind in the Beavers Bend State Park area, allowing guests to truly enjoy the untouched wilderness that surrounds each cabin.

Part of 40 Private Acres

Redbud Retreat is part of our private 40 acre tract. Along with Redbuud Retreat, six other cabins are spread amongst the 40 acres. Four shared, catch & release fishing ponds can be used by guests staying in any one of the seven cabins located on the private 40 acres. All of our ponds are stocked with fish. There is also a nine hole frisbee golf course on our private 40 acres. Each cabin offers nine frisbees for guests to use during their rounds of golf.

Community Center Discount

Redbud Retreat is one of seven cabins that receive a $25.00 discount on the Community Center when rental dates of both the cabin and center coincide. The cabins are White Tail Waters, Deer Drink Overlook, Tranquility, Redbud Retreat, Water's Edge, Bear's Den, Shaui Chukka, and Seclusion. Discounts are given for each of the eight cabins rented. This allows the total discount on the center to be anywhere from $25.00 for one cabin, to $200.00 for all eight cabins.

I wish I could give the Red Bud cabin 10/10. We stayed here 2 weeks ago. With everything that's going on we had carried lot's of disinfectants so as to clean up once we got there. To our dismay the cabin was pristine, we didn't have to do any cleaning. That was just awesome. They had everything that anyone would need to use for cooking (I love cooking). The beds and beddings were clean😂 yes we checked. The atmosphere and surrounding areas were just breath-taking. Did I mention seeing the deers running around the cabin and the fish in the pond. It was my first time there and I am looking forward to going back next year. It was a much needed vacation and I got more energized.

This was our first time staying at the cabins & we rented for my husband's 50th birthday. He desperately needed a break from work! This place was beautiful! We saw deer & other wildlife. We used the hot tub, fire pit. We especially liked that the kitchen was stocked with utensils, tableware, blender & a variety of kitchen items. You just bring the food! Especially loved waking up at daybreak, hearing the sounds of the forest & having coffee on the patios with my husband & 2 grown boys! It has been awhile since we had a vacation together! We will be back!

No Hidden Fees

The nightly rate per cabin includes all preparation and cleaning cost. We do not charge additional fees of any kind, as long as cabin is left in good condition and all policies are followed.

All cabin laundry is washed, dried and prepared at our designated private laundry facility. We do not require guests to do their own laundry.
