• Do you change your hot tub water after each guest departure?
    Yes, hot tub is cleaned and water is changed after each departure. Every reservation starts with fresh water & chlorine packets to add during your stay.
  • Do you charge any hidden fees, such as cleaning fees or resort fees and do you require travel insurance?
    We do NOT charge resort fees. We do NOT charge or require travel insurance. Our nightly rate includes all cost to have cabin professionally cleaned. We do not charge cleaning fees as long as cabin is left in good condition and all policies are followed. View our check-out policies here
  • Are guests required to wash towels & linens prior to checking out?
    All of our laundry is washed professionally in our private laundry facility. Guests are not asked or required to wash towels or linens.
  • Do your cabins provide crock pots, food processors, air fryers, etc?
    No, the only small appliances we provide are blender, toster, keurig, coffee maker. Each cabin is stocked with a basic set of pots and pans.
  • Are there any restaurants in the area?
    Yes, the Broken Bow & Hochatown area have the typical selection of restaurants to choose from. A list of restaurants in Beavers Bend.
  • Do your cabins have wifi ?
    All of our cabins have free wifi from Hughesnet satellite internet.
  • Are pets allowed?
    Shaui Chukka & Seclusion are pet friendly. You can view both of our pet friendly cabins here. There is a $40 non-refundable pet fee. Absolutely no pets allowed in the non-pet friendly cabins. If pets are found on property of non-pet friendly cabins, guests will be asked to remove them immediately and $100 per pet per day charge will be charged to credit card on file.     Guests must email us prior to the stay if there is a service animal. Per Oklahoma HB3282, it is unlawful for any reason to misrepresent any animal as a service animal and will be immediately evicted and forfeit all money paid in addition to being reported to any and all proper authorities. Persons will also be responsible for all damages and restitution up to $1,000 to return the property to its previous condition.
  • Do you provide sheets & towels?
    Yes, we provide sheets & towels for your stay.
  • I have already made a reservation at your cabin. Can we change to a different cabin?
    If your check-in date is more than two weeks away, we can change your reservation to a different cabin. However, if the check-in date is within two weeks, give us a call to discuss a possible change.
  • Are there any grocery stores?
    Pruett’s Grocery in Broken Bow, Wal-Mart in Broken Bow or Super Wal-Mart in Idabel. There are also convenience stores in the immediate area with full selections.
  • Will I have access for my boat/trailer at the cabins?
    Yes, but please note that "Lookout Lodge" does NOT have easy access for a large boat/trailer.
  • Do your cabins have fireplaces?
    Yes. Our cabins have fireplaces for Winter use and outdoor fire pits for campfires. We provide a small amount of firewood for indoor fireplace only (November through February). Wood for outdoor fire pits can be purchased from us, local vendors, or gathered from fallen trees at the cabin sites.
  • Are your cabins located on Broken Bow Lake?
    Broken Bow Lake's shoreline is managed by the Army Corps of Engineers. The shoreline is all natural, with no docks or permanently connected structures allowed, other than Beavers Bend Marina. Our cabins are just a few miles from the lake.
  • What kind of activities can we do when we are visiting Broken Bow / Beavers Bend area?

  • Do I need a fishing license?
    You do not need a fishing license to fish in our private ponds on our private properties. You will need a fishing license to fish in the state park or the lake. Complete information and pricing on fishing / hunting licenses.

  • Are there any hiking and biking trails in the Beavers Bend area?
    Yes. There are hiking and biking trails located inside Beavers Bend State Park. Please check with the Nature Center or the Beavers Bend State Park office for trail maps and directions. please visit www.Beavers-Bend.com for more information on the trails.
  • What is the driving distance to Broken Bow?
    Dallas - Broken Bow is 190 miles from Dallas. It is a 3 to 3 and 1/2 hour drive. Oklahoma City - Broken Bow is 250 miles from Oklahoma City – about a 4-hour drive. Shreveport - Broken Bow is 150 miles from Shreveport – about a 3-hour drive. Tulsa - Broken Bow is 220 miles from Tulsa – approximately a 3 1/2 hour drive.
  • I have never been to the area. Is there any special information I need to know?
    Yes, remember, this is the woods. Do not feed wild animals, including raccoons, squirrels, bears, dogs, etc. Animals that get fed by humans will return time and time again. This can be dangerous and more often a nuisance.Take caution against poison ivy. Poison ivy and bug repellant is strongly suggested. Be cautious with fires. The ground can be covered with leaves and pine needles. If a cigarette or spark ends up in the wrong place, it can have devastating consequences.
